Great for welding cables--But?

These would be great for welding cables. They are very high quality. I weld and I would not hesitate to use them for their intended purpose.
I'm going to use these for a winch system on my truck. I could have just used jumper cables, however if you've ever used jumper cables you know the tendency for the clamps to pop off. With more junk under the hood they can be impossible to clamp on the terminal.
These will work great for winch power cables. They lock tight with nothing exposed to cause shorts.
