can this be repaired when it quits workin ?
    2 Answers
If you send the lens back to Jackson they may be able to repair it. However generally the cost to repair or replace the lens is almost as much as we would sell a complete new helmet.. You can contact Jackson at 800-428-8185

Will this fit a Huntsman 400?
    1 Answer
We are not a Huntsman distributor and are not real familiar with the Huntsman product line. We believe that the Huntsman 400 series of helmets use a 2 x4 size lens.. The Jackson Nexgen EQC Auto-Darkening Lens 16622 is a 4 x 5 size lens and would not fit into the Huntsman 400

    Worth every penny!
    April 21, 2018
I've owned mine for 12 years, I'm a professional pipe welder with ten"s of thousands of welds this in my opinion is the best setup out there. I still yes the old HSL 100 hood so it's a bit heavier but that's the hood. My only complaint is switching from cut, torch, and grind mode button is getting worn out but again this is after thousands apon thousands of welds.

    Well worth the money!!!

Traded my welding instructor a Hobart Pro lens for one of these. It runs flawlessly. The 3-in-1 mode is wicked convenient, as well as the auto shut off after 20 minutes. I'm very impressed and can't wait to see how long this lens will last me.

I have owned this Nexgen lens for 10 years and it still works flawless. Many hundreds, if not thousands of hrs. of actual weld time. I still have perfect vision, so I highly recommend this product.
    Pros10 years of flawless use.
ConsIt wont die! I want to get the new TRUESIGHT lens.

I bought my first one about 9 years ago, still works great and is in my opinion the best. I have even bought 3 additional ones for a youth welding program. Pricy but Great.
Pros3 in 1 is great. Never had issues with the 4 sensors.
ConsI can never remember what battery size I need when they go out.

Have had mine for over 3 years now and works like a charm. Has a little trouble switching in tight real low amp tig situations where you don't have a direct line of sight of your weld.
ProsAutomatically switches, has weld, torch, and grind modes. All digital display
ConsBracket that holds it in place is cheap plastic and breaks easily in cold weather, has trouble switching in low amp tig situations ( less than 30 amps )
