    Great, clear lens.
    August 17, 2018
The lens itself is clear and simple. Ive been running this lens in my Halo for about 7 years now. There isnt anything unnecessary to distract from it doing its job. I also have a Digital Elite with all the bells and whistles and my "Let it Ride" Halo X with the Truesight is my go to.

My only complaint is the cheater lens holder is very lacking in the "holding" part. I use a small square of duct tape to fix it.
ProsClear, fast good adjustability, good battery life, easy to find batteries (AAA), light in the Halo X
Conscheater lens holder does do a great job at holding, No settings memory.

Very clear lens! For all the people saying that the lens has no auto shut off, if you would've read the instructions, it says if you hold the on button for 5 seconds, the hood shuts off. I tried it & it shuts off
ProsSuper easy large buttons let's user change modes w/o changing gloves. Super clear class 1/1/1/1
ConsA little heavy when on the head.

I've been using this lens for about a month now and I went from a Jackson nexgen, the Kimberly-Clark version, to the trusite II. I like the shade of it the bluish green tint is easy on the eyes. I like the availability of all the button settings on the face of the lens. The only thing I'm not particularly enthused with is it doesn't seem to have an auto shut-off. Don't get me wrong Triple-A batteries are a lot cheaper 2450s but any little bit of battery saver would help.
ConsLike I mentioned before there's not an auto shut-off. Also I've never use any Truesight lens before but I know a lot of people that had the first true sight and probably 6 of them said the lens didn't last longer than a year hopefully they fixed that.

    Exactly what I needed

I bought this visor because of my line of work. I repair damaged door frames and incorrect preps in the frame by cutting out and either moving or replacing a part. The bottom line is everything has to look pretty and there is quite a few things (including but not limited to, really expensive wallpaper) that I am welding near and would prefer not to set on fire. This visor is great for what I do. I've been using the gold visor in my Jackson hood so I'm used to the feel of the helmet and I know it's heavy if you have it on for extended periods of time but the vision is perfect. The biggest reason I bought this and love it is because of the location of the sensors. The only issue I have had with them (and I'm pretty much thankful for) is if someone is welding near you, even if you can see the direct arc, the dimmer will kick in. The grinding feature is pretty nice too if you only have to grind a little bit. If I was going to be grinding for extended periods of time it's too dark for my liking. Luckily I usually only have a little bit of everything to do so having this unit helps to not hinder my mobility. I have not used the torch setting yet but I can't imagine it's much different than grinding. All in all I do not regret the purchase and I would get one again.
ProsSensor location Adjustment buttons Zero flash
ConsHeavy Remembering to switch back to weld mode It's a little dim for me in grind mode

I am a certified pressure vessel welder and i'm under my hood eight hours a day out of a twelve hour day. I like the lens as it is amber, easier on the eyes. It has flashed me once buy i think it was crap on the outer lens.
    ProsLarge view, amber band
ConsExpensive outer lens replacment, 2.50 a peice, this sucks.

ProsEasy to select/change modes. Large viewing area. Batteries/cover lens easy to replace.
