Nice magnet, fairly strong for size but price isn't worth it. I expect more strength for price.

I bought the magnets because of a youtube video. They were so good and worked so well that I bought a pair for my friend on his birthday. I would recommend the magnets to anyone. I will probably buy some bigger ones also,
ProsEase of use and holding power

It is smaller than anticipated but works like a charm. The ability to turn off the magnet is excellent.

    Great little workpiece holder
    December 9, 2015
Does a surprisingly good job of keeping steel pieces in place on an 1/8" thick welding table. I recently welded some 2" long tabs of 3/4" x 1/8" flat bar to 1/2" diameter rod and this little guy when placed alongside the rod was more than sufficient to keep everything in place.
ProsEasy to use Good holding power

Great tool for the fab box
    June 4, 2015
My first experience with this type of magnetic work holder and although useful and cool I was a bit underwhelmed at its capacity. Due to its size and holding strength I would rate it for only light sheetmetal work 1/8" or less... Its just too small a version for any sort of heavy fab... I'm sure the big boys would be much better but just don't have that kind of money to find out.
ProsHandy for small details / projects
ConsNot as much holding strength as I thought it would have

It just does what it's supposed to do.
    April 10, 2015
Easily applied, easily removed. Great for holding medium sized plate in position for tack welds.
ProsSmall and compact. Accurate setup 90 degree angle.
ConsThe plastic handles can melt if you hold too much heat too close for too long, then it's worthless.

    High Quality Magnetic Clamp
    January 7, 2015
This little magnetic clamp is well made and extremely powerful. I use it in my homemade 90 degree bandsaw resawing fixture and I find it more than strong enough that there is no movement of the fixture during resawing. The magnet is made with true 90 degree sides so it makes the job of squaring up the fixture very easy. I highly recommend this product. I use two in the resawing fixture and unbolt it and use in some of my other fixtures.
ProsStrong attachment force. Well made, good quality product.
