What is the x mode in the helmets
1 Answer
The Miller Welding Helmet - Black Digital Elite Lens 257213 has Miller's X mode feature. This feature not only senses the welding arc, but it senses the electro magnetic field from the welding arc. If you are welding with a helmet that does not have X mode and the arc light sensors are blocked the lens will not darken and you may get flashed. If you helmet has X mode and the arc light sensors become blocked the lens will still darken because it is sensing the electro magnetic field from the weld arc. 1 Answer
We are not sure what you asking in your question when you are saying fresh air.. If you are talking about a Powered Air Purifying Respirator PAPR there is no PAPR system that works with your Miller Welding Helmet - Black Digital Elite Lens 257213.All Miller PAPR stems work only with the Miller Titanium helmets. Miller does offer a Miller CoolBelt Welding Helmet Cooling System 245230 which blows cool air under the welding helmet to lower the under hood temperature and also helps to remove stagnant air. This system does not provide purified air.. The Coolbelt will work with your Miller Welding Helmet - Black Digital Elite Lens 257213
