Is there a identical older model of this jacket? I ordered one from this website and compared to one I seen at airgas the one I got from cyber weld seems to be better quality. I could see why the buttons would rip off from the one I seen at airgas. The one I have the buttons seem a lot more reinforced and better quality all around

    Great quality
Absolutely great quality. Fits perfectly. Performs flawlessly during winter with a hoodie underneath. Welded outside during 20 degree weather with a hoodie and the jacket on top and stayed warm, comfortable and flexible. Worth every penny.
ProsDurability. Quality. Easy to button up.
ConsNo extra pockets (then again, it's intended purpose is to provide protection from fire and sparks) Not the best choice when using in over 100 degree weather (Texas weather)

At first I was kind of iffy on this jacket because a lot of people complained about the buttons.. I ordered it anyways. I got a medium.. I'm 5'5 and it fits me snug. Looks like a motorcycle jacket, which I really like. I tried it out yesterday for the first time and it's great 4 hours of school welding, cutting, and grinding. No issues on the buttons and its really comfortable to weld in .
ProsGreat quality jacket, worth the money, and its comfortable .
ConsI wish I would of ordered two. One for welding and one for going out

Quality, sizing, material, style?, it has it all. The leather is heavy and you can't feel slag directly on your sleeves or anything. I ordered a size bigger to some reviews being slim in the shoulders. Overall a solid pick for a leather welding jacket.

    Quality jacket, crap buttons.
I read reviews on here before purchasing this expensive welding jacket. Even though I knew about the weak buttons and took precautions not to rip any, one still managed to rip out 4 days after I received it. Miller opted to reinforce the male end of the button and not the female end. It's currently at the leather repair shop getting all the buttons reinforced.

Today I wore the jacket for the first time, my coworker said It looked like a motorcycle jacket... Later said It looked like a Michael Jackson leather jacket, if only it was red... Later unbuttoned looked like the Fonz Funny. But great weld jacket, comfortable, flexible, not heavy and too hot, also not any problems with buttons as I seen in previous reviews...

    Pipe Welders Dream Jacket
After trying many heavy cowhide jackets, this one blows them all away!!! I read many complaints about the buttons on this jacket, but if you are careful when removing the jacket the buttons are just fine. This jacket is very light weight and makes it very easy to maneuver around pipes in the worst locations you could think of.

    Top notch
This jacket is worth every penny. It's durable, easy to move in and blocks from slag. I was worried because everyone said the button snaps were garbage but I have used this jacket for 2 weeks straight now and have had no problems. There is a reason I buy Miller products.

Most comfortable chinese garbage you'll ever wear
This jacket is the most comfortable welding jacket you will ever put on. It is soft and flexes in all the right directions with the built in flex zones. It is nearly perfect! Damn it I wish it was. I really hated giving up on this product, but if it doesn't stay closed, then what's the good. Cyberweld is a top notch business. They were very helpful in exchanging this for the Black Stallion pig skin jacket. While the Black Stallion jacket is not nearly as comfortable as this one, it does hold up to the task at hand and I couldn't be happier with it..... now for the issue that killed this Miller jacket for me. The buttons are HORRIBLE! Don't waste your money or time on it. over the coarse of 2 weeks I broke 5 buttons on two different jackets. After exchanging the first one I was instructed to be gentle with the buttons so as to not break them on the replacement jacket. I babied these buttons. Not furiously ripping them open. Gently tried to coax each individual button open with TLC. Still broke THREE of them!!! I'm not sure what Miller was thinking sending this out to market. In my opinion it does serious damage to their reputation. Its a real shame too. They hit a home run with every part of the jacket except the part that get used the most. DO NOT BUY THIS JACKET!

    Great work jacket!
Lightweight, tough. Arms are not bulky, the elastic cuff recessed deep in leather cuff is a real good idea. The accordions make a big difference if you climb or reach a lot. Never wore a welding jacket except when welding until this one.
ProsThin arms for tight places. Good windbreaker. Doesn't show grease and metal dust.

    Not miller quality
Out of the box it looked good, fit up was nice but... As soon as i took it off 2 of the buttons came off. Like really? I didnt even have it for 5 min. The leather is very thin and is not heavy duty. I would suggest going to you're local welding store were you can judge the quality for your self. For 130 bucks i expected a little better from miller. I called and sent it back with no hassle.

    Like it but...
Two of the male buttons pulled off when I opened the jacket the first time! Love the jacket though, soft, flexible, and looks badass. Probably just a simple manufacturing error, going to return it hoping for more success. 5 star product if not for the buttons being a little flimsy
    ProsEverything but the buttons

followed directions to measure and ordered the large, the sleeves are a little short and the shoulders are almost to snug good thing the shoulders have the stretch to them. The jacket looks good and feels nice can make do with the short comings thanks to gauntlet gloves. I am 6 foot 1 and 175 pounds so pretty certain would be swimming in an x-tra large.

    Best Jacket
I've been doing a lot of arc welding lately with 5/32 6010 and if you have done it, its like welding with a sparkler lol. My old jacket just wouldn't take it and was uncomfortable anyway. So I found this one and gave it a shot. Works awesome and I can MOVE! If you are doing some heavy welding you wont be disappointed with this one.

chose this jacket from high reviews about this jacket. My husband was very pleased. I bought the jacket one size up from his usual size and he said it was a good fit. He will use it soon. this is my second order from Cyberweld and will continue to order many more items from this company. He has made long and good use of his other jacket and gloves that I purchased from Cyberweld.glad I found cyberweld online. I will always be able to find quality gifts for my husband from Cyberweld.

Very good quality leather with tall neck guard. It's almost too nice to use as a work jacket. The description doesn't tell you, but the sleeves have an internal cuff to help keep sparks out.

    Buying my Second one
This jacket is worth its weight in gold........... I have purchased several jackets over the years, but this one is by far my favorite. I originally bought this one in 2XL, I have since lost a few pounds, running around the shop teaching students all day so I am getting ready buy another one, this time a 1XL...... Excellent Jacket
ProsEverything, and it keeps you warm in the winter

Almost too nice to weld in.
Trim fit (I'm 6' 1" 240lbs with a 38" waist) for X-Large but the expansion panels around the sleeves facilitate movement and the leather is very supple. Lining extends to only mid-chest but jacket is very comfortable.
ProsExpansion panels, many pockets and nice Miller embroidery on breast pocket and rear nape.
ConsNice enough for casual wear which may makes me sorry I didn't buy two.

    The perfect welding jacket?
Very well made, excellent materials - very durable and great protection. Good details too - no open snaps to foul or break (the front snaps are covered - nice touch), great neck protection, even the wrist closure is nicely thought out. Much nicer details and features than anything else out there. And the fit is exceptional: out of the box it was as comfortable as my favorite motorcycle jacket that took years to break in. Very good freedom of motion too. Medium weight so no overheating in the summer, just enough room for a sweater when the temp drops. I'm 5'11", 150lbs, 39" chest and the small fit perfectly. Can't think of anything I'd change, so yep, I think it's the perfect welding jacket. Well worth the few extra $.
ProsPerfect fit, good protection, very well thought out, excellent freedom of movement and very comfortable in use. Nice weight makes it a 4-season jacket.
    ConsNothing. It's perfect.

    Great Jacket!!!
Wow this is one awesome jacket! Way lighter than your average split leather welding jacket. So it's way easier to wear for longer periods of time. Has stretch leather in the shoulders so it's easy to move around in. Satin lined so it comes on and off easy also. The neck is also very tall, provides great protection front and back from UV burn and sparks. Good protection, so far it seems to be holding up quite well, have around 35hrs of welding/grinding with it. The fit is not the same as other Miller Jackets, or doesn't fit the same as the 2 other ones I have. I have 2 of the blue cloth indura fabric ones. They are both larges and fit me quite well. I bought a large in this jacket and it is bigger in the chest so it doesn't quite fit right. I am 6'1 and ~185lbs, tall and pretty skinny. I probably could have got away with a medium, but too late now.
    ProsLight Good Protection Tall neck
ConsFit wasn't quite the same as my other Miller jackets Sort of expensive, but seems worth it, way better than split leather jackets IMO

Comfortable and protective all in one.
This jacket is the BOSS when it comes to protection. It is not as heavy on me as some of the other jackets I have used. The cuffs of the arms are much more comfortable and fits so much better with my gloves then having snaps like some other jackets have. Plus I have had problems with snaps being ripped out of my other jackets at the cuff area as I pull on them to unsnap them. The shoulders giving and stretching as I move around my work help so much and makes things so much more comfortable. I don't have to keep pulling down on the bottom of the jacket because it has road up my torso like other jackets do. This jacket is worth the investment.
ProsHow well it fits. The lightweight of a thick jacket. The give and stretch of the shoulders. The cuffs of the arms.
ConsWasting my money on jackets that do not measure up to this one.
