Miller® XMT® 350 CC/CV Multiprocess Welder 907161

The Miller® XMT® 350 CC/CV is a portable 350 amp multi-process welder that is capable of MIG, stick and DC TIG welding. It operates on both three-phase and single-phase input power and features Miller's Auto-Line,™ which means you use 208 volt to 575 volt, single or three-phase input power without manual linking.

Weighing just 80 pounds, the XMT 350 CC/CV is easy to move around the shop or jobsite and its rugged case design ensures it will stand up to the punishment of extreme work environments. It is ideal for industrial applications. It is able to carbon arc gouge with carbons up to 5/16" diameter. When paired with a wire feeder or spool gun, the XMT 350 CC/CV makes an excellent MIG and Flux-Cored welder. It's got built-in Lift-Arc™ TIG arc starting for smooth DC TIG arc starts without the use of high frequency.

The Miller XMT 350 CC/CV Multiprocess Welder 907161 comes with a 4 conductor power cord. If you want to connect this machine to single phase power .You use only 3 of the 4 conductor wires. Use the black, white, and green.

The Miller XMT 350 CC/CV Multiprocess Welder 907161 is a DC welding power source. The term square wave only comes into play when talking about welding machines and power sources that have AC welding power capability so the term square wave does not apply to the XMT 350. Miller 20 and 70 series feeders plus the 12RC, 8RC,12VS,and 8VS series feeders can all be used with an XMT 350 CC/CV .

The Miller XMT 350 CC/CV Multiprocess Welder 907161 will accept a Miller 30A or 15A spoolgun..However you must use a WC24 control box. The Spoolgun will connect directly to your flow regulator on the cylinder.. It does not connect to the gas port on the front of the XMT

The Miller XMT 350 CC/CV Multiprocess Welder 907161 is not a plasma cutter.. It can be used to cut and gouge steel if used in conjunction with an Arc Air torch.. The Arc air torch would require an air supply such as from a compressor

The Miller XMT 350 CC/CV Multiprocess Welder 907161 cannot cut by its self.. When used in conjunction with a carbon arc torch it can be used to cut and gouge .. The thickness of the material being cut is only limited by the experience and technique used by the operator

The welder is great and is exactly what we wanted. Delivery via Con-way freight was very frustrating, welder didn't arrive on 2 occasions as indicated by tracking. Finally a manager in a pickup truck made the delivery. Welder housing was dented and CyberWeld issued a $150 credit to ease my temper. I will definitely order from CyberWeld again, hopefully future orders will be a bit smoother.

Best welder out for Tig/stick

I am a union welder and make X-Ray welds 6 days a week.. Anything from 1"socket welds,2" super coupons, to 8"and so on. I have used a lot of different welders and lucked out to have been using this one for a while now and it is my favorite ever. With the digital gauge you can get it finely tuned and when your welding on important stuff there's no room for error. When you weld on the daily you can tell the difference between running a root at 68 or at 69. This machine also has a dig control and you can set it where you like that, unlike most that just have soft or stiff... It also works really good on tig but most of my work is 6010/7018 or tig root with 7018 fill.

Digital gauge Consistency Dig dial Quiet Smooth Nothing. I could ask for a separate spit for tig torch so you don't have to disconnect your leads to switch processes but the machine is too good to complain.

At first I was very pleased and impressed with the unit, until it quit working after a half an hour of light use. When it quit working it displayed a HELP #1 code . The HELP #1 code means that there is something wrong with the primary power circuitry in the unit itself, which has to be repaired by a Miller service agency . Where I work we have several of these exact same welders and every single one of them have had the same problem.

-It's a good power unit when it works. -Versitile -Easy to change settings. Broke down after a half an hour of light use.
