3M™ 8214 Particulate Welding Respirator N95 with Nuisance Level Organic Vapor Relief and Faceseal

Box of 10 - Genuine 3M™ 8214 is a disposable N95 particulate welding resipirator with Cool Flow™ exhalation valve, faceseal and nuisance organic vapor* relief. The 8214 removes 95% of particulates down to 3 microns in size and is specifically designed for use in welding applications. 3M's Welding Web filter media meets ASTM D2859-96 standards for flame resistance. The filter media is also cake-resistant for longer life and easier breathing.

The 3M 8214 respirator has a carbon layer that removes ozone and nuisance-levle odors associated with stainless steel, galvanized and aluminum welding. It also captures welding fume particles, including hexavalent chromium. The Cool Flow exhalation valve expels exhaled carbon dioxide and helps keep you cooler and more comfortable while welding. The faceseal provides a secure fit and helps keep dirt and dust from entering the respirator. The 8214 also features adjustable buckle straps and nose clip for a custom fit.

*3M recommended for relief against nuisance levels of organic vapors. Nuisance level refers to concentrations less than the OSHA PEL or applicable governmental occupational exposure limits, whichever is lower. Do not use for respiratory protection against acid gases or organic vapors. Do not use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH).
