The Black Stallion® B-CBN16-6X8 is a 16 ounce, 6' X 8' carbon fiber felt welding blanket. It resists melting up to 1,800 degrees F and provides protection against welding sparks, spatter and slag. This welding blanket is .170" thick and conforms to complex shapes for more complete protection coverage.

    Really nice but has down sides.

    These blankets are great when you want to avoid using those awful fiberglass blankets. But everything has a time and a place.

    These blankets are best used for interior use or in a “no stress” setting as they are not very durable. If they get walked on repeatedly, tugged, or stretched, they develop tears. You have to be pretty gentle with them. Otherwise I like them, especially when I do interior installations and don’t want to leave fiberglass residue behind on furniture.

    Amazing blanket + perfect customer service

    This blanket is so amazing and soft I want to sleep with it on my bed. I took a soft fuzz ball from the blanket and torched it and it glows red and when done, it's still soft and fuzzy. I suspect this blanket will be perfect hanging for spark protection in garage while mig welding.
