Diamond Ground 2% Thoriated Tungsten Electrode TH2

I found this in a web search, as I was unwilling to pay $60 or more for a box of

7" 3/32 dia red tipped tungsten. The last box of this I bought from a brick and mortar

a number of years ago was around $60.

The tungsten is high quality. Some I have had experience with over the years have

not been ground to the right diameter and/or tend to splinter when a band it ground

around the middle for breaking in half.

I have worked as a welder my entire working life in sheet metal fab and aircraft related

manufacturing and even some FAA repair experience. I am retired and because of the

economic trouble in 2008-9 I was unemployed for about a year in the southern

California area. Then under some duress I moved to southern Oregon where to this

day I have also not found work. I do have some equipment and work on personal

projects to keep in touch with the trade. So I do appreciate good prices, being on

early retirement social security.
