Diamond Ground CRYO-T 2% Thoriated Tungsten Electrode

Package of 10 - The Diamond Ground CRYO-T 7 inch 2% thoriated tungsten electrode, size .040, is cryogenically treated to provide longer life and easier arc starts when compared to standard thoriated tungsten. The extremely cold temperatures of the cryogenic process produce a tungsten blend that is more dense and therefore, more durable. Cryo-T tungsten can be used in the same welding applications as standard 2% thoriated tungsten. It is ideal for DC TIG welding of steel and stainless steel. Each tungsten electrode has a mechanically ground finish for consistent purity and performance.
