Harris® ER309L 1/16 Diameter Stainless Steel TIG Welding Wire 3# 309LT303POP

3 lb. tube 36 inch lengths - Harris® ER309L 1/16 diameter stainless steel TIG welding wire is used for welding similar and dissimilar steels. It is also occasionally used for welding 18-8 base metals when severe corrosion conditions exist. The 309L grade is similar to 309 except for the lower carbon content, (.03% maximum) which reduces the possibility of carbide precipitation which can cause weld corrosion.

      Great Rod

      When you have been a welder for as long as I have you try to find the best budget friendly options to maximize your profits. The best thing about Cyberweld is the affordability and ordering convenience for a business owner. I have used every brand of wire under the sun and there is an endless rabbit hole with arguments of which is the best brand. What matters to me is if it gets the job done and the welds hold correctly. Well with this Harris rod it does exactly that and has joined a lot of stainless and mild steel together for my customers. In many circumstances I have had a lot of 309L rod crack after welding (this is subject to the right welding procedure) but when done correctly I have not had this rod fail on me and would recommend this product. The video included is 316L being joined to mild steel for a custom gate cable railing.
