First the pros, I’m a pipelined fan, like the tight fit and close to the body feel that miller and others fail to give. This hood has it even for my large head, the sides cover my check well and hugged my throat but doesn’t give the pipelined throat chop. But….. like the other reviews the lens freaks out once in awhile and turns off and does all shorts of funk. It’s only done it tho I’m heavy sun light and jumped up on a super led job light. But none the less it turns off on you for no reason 30 seconds after arc stick. Batteries it came with are trash bought high dollar ones and that issues seems to be fixed with 15 hrs running after changing. And with less than 30hrs on the hood and I’m not the hulk with my tools there’s a hair line crack in the lens, can’t see it under the arc but it’s there. I have a infinity, (don’t like how it rides) and OG 9100 pre grind button ( grind mode was a man reason for upgrade) and countless pipelined and chopped pipe liners, never have I had a lens crack. Over all lens viewing is amazing and fit is as well, but with all the issues no way is it worth the money or a hood you’d want if you don’t have back up.
