Genuine Miller® Fall Protection Falcon™+ Edge is a Class 2 self-retracting lifeline (SRL) with galvanized steel cable and edge protection. The Falcon+ Edge is specifically designed to protect workers where the SRL might encounter a sharp edge, like an I-beam, during a fall. The built-in shock-absorber pack works as a strain relief to preserve the structural integrity of the galvanized steel lifeline cable. The heavy-duty nylon housing, with stainless steel and aluminum internal components, stands up to the harshest work environments. The quick-activating braking mechanism arrests free falls much faster and requires less fall clearance than shock-absorbing lanyards. The Falcon+ Edge is a Class 2 self-retracting lifeline, meaning it can be used in overhead, horizontal, vertical and at foot anchor applications. It is available in 20 ft., 30 ft. and 50 ft. galvanized steel cable lengths. The Falcon+ Edge is OSHA rated for user weights up to 420 pounds. It is ANSI rated for users up to 310 pounds.
