Miller® Spoolmate™ 3035 MIG Spoolgun 195016

The Miller® Spoolmate™ 3035 MIG Spoolgun is highly reliable and economical and features excellent feeding characteristics for welding aluminum. The spool canister holds one pound spools of aluminum MIG welding wire up to .035 in diameter.

Hobart® ER4043 .035 Aluminum MIG Welding Wire - 1# Spool 404303504

1 lb. Spool - Genuine Hobart® ER4043 .035 diameter Aluminum MIG Welding Wire is a general purpose wire that is well-suited for welding 6XXX series aluminum. It is classified as AWS A5.10 ER4043 and is an all-position solid MIG wire with a low melting temperature and excellent corrosion resistance.

    good looking equipment

    have not used it yet, I plan on working with thin metal (copper/brass) and it did not come with .023 contact tip and drive wheels, had to order them after the 3035 was delivered. Everything I read said i needed a switch for my machine, got that, but there was nothing said about the gas valve that was needed to be installed. I'm still trying to figure that out. It does not look like it will fit where the instruction indicate.

    Works Great!

    But if you have an older Miller 130, and yer burning 1/8" be prepared to weld very quickly- too fast to trap argon on fillet. Ended up 'boxing' work. This is s great tool- for anything that Just needs stuck together. It does work surprisingly well.

    Seems to be working fine. However, I'm having a some trouble stopping it from splattering. I am welding on old aluminum and that could be a factor
