Optrel® Weldcap® 1008.000

The Optrel® Weldcap® combines the protection of an auto-darkening welding hood with the comfort of a flame retardant baseball cap. The result is a lightweight, variable shade 9 to 12 welding protection system that can be worn all day. Weldcap's revolutionary auto dark lens allows for a dramatically increased field of vision that is up to 270% greater than a standard 2 1/2 x 4 1/4 inch welding lens. The innovative nose cut out, along with the unique shape of the Weldcap ADF combine to provide the widest view of the work area of any other welding helmet in its class.

The Weldcap lens features a single, wide-angle sensor and can be operated in variable shade 9 to 12 welding mode or shade 3 grind mode. The auto-dark lens assembly comes with a two year warranty.
