PowerWeld® TIG Finger Feeder PW1550

The Powerweld® TIG Finger Feeder "TIG-Pen" smoothly feeds TIG filler wire using just your index finger. Feeder wheel automatically adjusts to TIG welding wire diameters from .030 to 1/8 inch. TIG finger feeder is 9.25 inches long and fits comfortably into your hand.

      A handy little item!

      It's built well and feeds filler rod easily. The only shortcoming I can see is the O-ring that is on it to provide tension for the feed wheel. I'm not sure how long it will last before breaking. I'll be looking for a replacement ring just in case it breaks. Overall, it's a great tool for the older welder with dexterity issues in their hands!

      Old Dog Learns New Trick

      After years of finger feeding filler rod I have to admit that it took a little getting used to but by the time I ran my first rod through it felt comfortable and natural in my hand.

      At the end of the second rod I noticed I was laying more consistent and even beads. Third rod through I am convinced this is the best thing since sliced bread.

      After a few hours welding I thought I would try the "old school" way of welding and finger feed a couple rods like in the old days. NO THANK YOU! I have since ordered a second one that is hanging on the wall just in case something happens to this one.

      A great equalizer

      Pretty cool. Easy way to feed in the filler rod. Improved the quality and look of my welds significantly.
