Genuine Speedglas™ G5-03 E Welding PPE Kit is a complete head, face, eye, hearing and breathing personal protection starter set for the most common welding applications. This PPE kit includes a Speedglas G5-03 E welding helmet and welding beanine, 10 - 3M™ 8515 disposable respirators, 3 pairs - Scotchgard™ clear safety glasses, 1 pair - PELTOR™ welding earmuffs and one SG-95 storage bag.
The G5-03 E welding hood with G5NC Auto-Darkening Filter, features Natural Color Technology and 12.5 square inches of viewing area. It offers legendary Speedglas quality and performance at an economical price. The G5-03 E auto darkening welding hood operates in shade 8-12 weld mode, shade 5 cut mode and shade 3 grind mode/light state. It provides outstanding performance for all kinds of MIG, TIG and stick welding applications. The G5NC ADF has three arc sensors and is rated for low amperage TIG welding down to 1 amp. Switching speed is 0.1 milliseconds. It also has adjustable delay and sensitivity controls. The Speedglas G5-03 E welding hood comes complete with Speedglas' G5-02 headgear, with independent friction and helmet "park" controls. Adjustments for crown height and headsize add to overall welding comfort and safety.
The 06-0500-54 welding beanie is made of FR cotton, and protects the top of your head from heat, sparks and spatter. The box of ten 3M 8515 disposable N95 respirators remove 95% of harmful welding fume particulates, incluing hexavalent chrome. Each 8515 comes with an exhalation valve and elastic head straps. The three pairs of Scotchgard SF501SGAF-BLK clear safety glasses feature a lightweight design, curved temples and an anti-fog coating. The PELTOR H505B welding earmuffs have a low provile design to fit under your welding hood. They have an Attenuation Rating of 17.0 Decibels.
