Tillman® 822L welding gloves feature an Aluminized Carbon Kevlar® (ACK) back that reflects heat up to 1500 degrees F. They have rugged split cowhide palms and are fully wool lined for added heat protection. The 822L high heat welding gloves are ideally suited for high amperage welding applications or where significant weld spatter is present, like in flux-cored arc welding (FCAW).

      Awesome for overhead testing and work

      I recently passed my ONE INCH overhead groove test...and these gloves gave me the advantage to guide the rods .and stay steady without heat causing unwanted hand and finger movement issues...

      AFTER over forty electrodes were used to fill the groove...the plate coupons get NUCLEAR HOT !......THESE gloves are the way to go !

      Good welding glove

      I almost caught them on fire the other day. The welds are cherry red when coming off the welder, I wish I could find a hotter glove over 4000 degrees Fahrenheit.
