Washington Alloy® 2% Ceriated Tungsten Electrode (EWCE-2)

Package of 10 - Washington Alloy® 2% Ceriated tungsten electrode is a premium, 7-inch long TIG welding electrode that is ideal for most types of metal. Cerium oxide is non-radioactive and is an excellent alternative to thoriated tungsten. 2% ceriated tungsten (grey tipped) has good tip erosion characteristics, good arc stability and smooth arc starting. It can operate on either AC or DC welding output current. Ceriated tungsten is the most common of the rare earth tungsten electrodes. Its narrow arc and ease of use makes it a good choice for stainless steel welding. Each tungsten electrode has a mechanically ground finish for consistent purity and performance.
