Washington Alloy® Rare Earth Tungsten Electrode (EWG)

Package of 10 - Washington Alloy® Rare Earth tungsten electrode is a premium, 7-inch long TIG welding electrode that offers precision arc control on most types of metal. Rare earth tungsten is non-radioactive and is an excellent alternative to thoriated tungsten. Its blend of three oxides, Lanthanum, Zirconium and Yttrium (purple tipped), produce superior tip erosion characteristics, excellent arc stability and smoother arc starting compared to other types of tungsten electrode. Rare Earth tungsten's ease of use and narrow arc makes it preferred for welding stainless steel. It can operate on either AC or DC welding output current. Each tungsten electrode has a mechanically ground finish for consistent purity and performance.
