Weiler® Tiger Ceramic Saber Tooth HD Flap Disc - 4 1/2" Type 27 7/8 Arbor 40 Grit 50130

Genuine Weiler® Tiger Ceramic Saber Tooth HD Type 27, 40 grit flat flap disc with 7/8 arbor is designed for use on aluminum, stainless steel, and other hard-to-grind metals. The Tiger Ceramic's crystalline structure contains millions of fracture points that self-sharpen at a faster rate than other grains. This results in a high material removal rate, cool grinding and reduced friction at less pressure, which reduces operator fatigue and labor costs. The wheel's top coat prevents heat discoloration of stainless steel parts and loading on soft alloys, like aluminum.

The type 27 flat high density design is conformable to irregular surfaces when grinding between 0-15 degrees. High density flap discs last up to 40% longer than standard density. The 40 grit abrasive grain is best for edge beveling, chamfering, weld grinding, and blending with a right angle grinder. The Tiger Ceramic #50130 flap disc offers a 7/8" open or plain arbor for a cost-effective mounting option when using adapting nuts.

Features
  • Top coated for cool grinding, protecting high-value parts from heat discoloration
  • Prevents loading on soft alloys like aluminum
  • Contaminant-free (contains less than 0.1% Fe, S, Cl)
  • High density flap design is conformable to irregular surfaces
  • High density flap discs last up to 40% longer than standard density
  • Ceramic alumina grains are self-sharpening micro-fracturing crystals that expose sharp edges, maintaining a high cut-rate for the life of the grain
  • Best on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and other hard-to-grind metals (armored steel, high-nickel alloys, Inconel™, titanium and tool steel)
  • 7/8" open or plain arbor offers a cost-effective mounting option when using adapting nuts
  • Maximum RPM: 13,000
