The Weiler® Tiger® X Type 27, 60 grit flat flap disc with 5/8-11 nut utilizes industry-first X3 technology for use on steel and stainless steel. X3 technology combines an advanced anchoring system, dual flap design and engineered backing for aggressive grinding over the long life of the disc. Tiger X's ceramic, zirconia alumina grain is self-sharpening and is designed to withstand high temperatures and pressure. The combination polycloth and cotton backing provides consistent grinding without glazing.

The Type 27 flat disc is ideal for smooth grinding, blending, and finishing on flat surfaces and slight contours from 0-15 degrees. 60 grit abrasive grain is ideal for edge beveling, chamfering, weld grinding, blending, deburring, deflashing, and rust removal with a grinder. The Tiger X #51227 flap disc offers a metal 5/8"-11 nut that allows for quick changeovers and prevents the disc from sticking to the spindle.
