Weiler® Tiger® X Flap Disc - 5" Type 29 7/8 Arbor 40 Grit 51209

The Weiler® Tiger® X Type 29, 40 grit conical flap disc with 7/8 arbor utilizes industry-first X3 technology for use on steel and stainless steel. X3 technology combines an advanced anchoring system, dual flap design and engineered backing for aggressive grinding over the long life of the disc. Tiger X's ceramic, zirconia alumina grain is self-sharpening and is designed to withstand high temperatures and pressure. The combination polycloth and cotton backing provides consistent grinding without glazing.

Type 29 conical disc shape maximizes surface area when grinding between 15-35 degrees for heavy stock removal on flat surfaces. The 40 grit abrasive grain is ideal for edge beveling, chamfering, weld grinding, and blending with a right angle grinder. The Tiger X #51209 flap disc offers a 7/8" open or plain arbor for a cost-effective mounting option when using adapting nuts.
