Twenty years past I ordered the "Little Tourch" and Have used it numerous times for multiple tasks where standard tourches would not apply. Today 27 October the acetlyne line leaked and caught fire. This ended my project. My question would be, "will this line still fit my tourch and do the clamps come with it, and how would I make an air tight (or gas tight) crimp to the Little Tourch. If all is the same I need to purchase another line to go to the Little Tourch.

New hoses work great!
March 29, 2015
The hoses got here faster than expected and I was able to refit them easily. My torch is working like new. I do agree about the price being kind of high but I guess it's what I have to pay for decent equipment. The old hoses lasted for almost 15 years.

Item works as described.
October 25, 2014
Item is too expensive for what it is ($5 plastic tube raped in green and red nylon with less then $5 of brass fittings at the end!) CyberWeld had the best price, delivery was fast and I will recommend it to a friend both, the vendor and the product. I wanted to use Smith made hoses but it is possible to replace those with tubing from Home Depot for under $3. I had it on my other torch and worked perfectly for years.
ProsWorks, good quality.
ConsIt is really expensive, much more then it is worth!

Hose is exact replacement for the original hose so not much else needs to be said. Except, I feel that the price is excessive!
ProsExact duplicate.
ConsExpensive but you have little alternative.

Smith little torch hoses suck
February 27, 2013
you can buy a similar hose, from Gentech, and it is 10 times the quality. the hose that I received from Smith/Cyberweld here was a total piece of garage. the interior hose is of a low quality, and the exterior fabric sleeve for the hose is of even lower quality. within 5 minutes of opening and installing the hose to our little torch, all of the fabric sleeve frayed apart completely, exposing 2 feet or more of the hose immediately, whereas the gentech hoses are FULLY BRAIDED. furthermore, the gentech hoses are made of a much higher quality interior hose, and come in 8 and twelve foot lengths.

April 29, 2012
Great price and was shipped very fast.
ProsIt is light weght and flexible.
ConsThe brass furrules are very hard to slip on to the covers, because the jacket ends want to fray. I made about 1-1/2 wraps with a thin paper around each one and the brass ferrules push right on to the hose jackets. The paper was an old cash register receipt.
