Solid metal stand comes with holes drilled and numbered for tips #2-7. Just a twist of the wrist removes the torch from the magnet. Magnetic clip mounts easily on Little Torch body. (Torch and tips sold separately).

The Smith Little Torch Magnetic Torch Stand & Tip Organizer 14014 will not work with the silver smith torches.. The bodies of these torches are made from brass and they are not magnetic. Unfortunately Smith does not currently make a torch stand for the Silver Smith torches.

Unfortunately, the handle of my torch cannot be unscrewed from the torch head, so the metal clip won't fit on my handle. I really like the stand ... Is there any way you could suggest to affix the clip to my torch? Thanks

We are not familiar with the Gen Tec small torch so we cannot recommend a way to modify it to accept the Smith Little Torch Magnetic Torch Stand & Tip Organizer 14014

The base magnet and the clips are available as separate items.. The part # for the magnet is14010 and they are $7.50 each.. The part # for the clip is 14012 and they are (believe it or not) $9.10 each

My Little Torch Holder only holds the Little Torch on the metal rim. It does not hold on the large central part. What is wrong?

The Smith Little Torch Magnetic Torch Stand & Tip Organizer 14014 includes a plated steel angle bracket which mounts between the torch handle and the torch head where the torch valves are located.. Since the Little Torch is made from aluminum this steel bracket must be installed in order for magnetic base to hold the Little Torch. If you have installed this bracket you will see that the only place the Little Torch will mount on the magnetic holder is the area of the torch head where the bracket is located.

This little torch was given to me as a present and I don't know what kind of fuel to buy or where to buy the little fuel tank's. I guess these are stupid little queasion's to ask here online but I hope someone will be kind enough to give me a hand just the same and thank you in advance for your help.

The Smith Little Torch is capable of using any fuel gas (Acetylene and Propane are the most common) and it also uses Oxygen in conjunction with the fuel gas ..You did not state which Little Torch Kit you received.. If your kit is designed to work with disposable cylinders you may be about to obtain them from a local hardware store or Home Depot, Lowes etc... If your kit has standard type pressure regulators you will have to get your gases from a local Welding Supply or Industrial Gas supplier

The Smith Little Torch Magnetic Torch Stand & Tip Organizer 14014 is just a holder/stand for the Smith Little torch.. The Little Torch is a very small oxy/fuel torch sometimes called a jewelers torch . It is designed to provide brazing/ soldering temperatures with pin point accuracy.. We are not familiar with lampwork, but if you are working with light gauge materials it may work..

A THIRD HAND AND A SAFER, NEATER BENCH!

I bought this because sometimes I'm doing a jewelry soldering operation that's so complicated that I need about 6 hands, and I don't like to juggle a torch along with everything else. Despite the two other "third hands" I have for holding items, having a way to safely hold the torch in place during a complex soldering operation is the main reason I wanted this. It's also nice that my still-hot torch is no longer falling out of its holder every time the gas lines are bumped, which is very often on my crowded bench. The magnet is strong and the base is weighted sufficiently to keep my torch secure. And Cyberweld had the best price on this item too!

It's not straightforward to put together and when I finally got it together according to the instructions/image, the magnet was not strong enough to support the torch. I added a large metal chip bag clip to make it work as a torch stand. It did work to store my tips.

What a great purchase! I bought the smith little torch months ago and didn't really think I needed the stand. but then.. I bought it.. at a great price and Love it!! The magnet is strong and hold the plate onto the torch keeping it off my bench and away from my arms. I can keep it lit and use as an extra hand if needed. The holes for the tips could use some love, the tips move around but other than that I highly recommend it! And Cyberweld has the best prices, fastest shipping!

My only complaint is that there is no instruction or even a diagram to show you what goes where. I thought that the little torch was supposed to attach magnetically on it's own to the stand. It didn't as it's not even metal. Didn't understand what the extra piece was for or how to use it. Called Cyberweld, they didn't know and gave me the manufacturer's number. They solved the mystery. The extra piece is a collar -- you have to unscrew the hand piece, and then slip this metal collar in and screw it back on so there will be some metal for the magnet to attract. Not Cyberweld's fault and they were ready to take it back if I couldn't resolve it. I felt a bit stupid for not being able to figure it out but a diagram would have helped.

ProsOnce it's put together it works great. Base is weighted so you can move it around, holds torch after using while still hot so you don't set it down and burn something with a hot tip or you can leave the torch burning on it briefly while you're readjusting your soldering.

ConsNo diagram or instructions for people with no clue like me ;-).

If you own a Smith Little Torch, then you absolutely must purchase the magnetic stand and tip organizer as it works perfectly and where else are you going to put your torch when you're not using it. It also good for lighting the torch with a striker.

I ordered this holder when I ordered my Little Torch. At the time, I was unsure of the size but it worked out great as it's about 2 1/2 inches (round). It's heavy enough that I have not, for now, adhered it to the table. The tips fit in loosely but that's ok. I like the fact that the magnet is very strong so I can place the torch easily onto it after working.

This torch stand has the heft to stay put for the most part, even without tacking it down with the self-adhesive pad included in the package (which I don't use on the stand at the moment, since I will be moving my tanks in the near future to a new location in the shop and may put it on the bottom of the stand at that time).

With regard to the tip-holder holes, they do a decent job of retaining the tips, but in the end I wound up putting the tips back in a box where I kept them before I got the stand. The stand also is great for those odd times when you need to have both hands free for either soldering, or to re-position the pieces being soldered without having to turn the torch off as it securely holds the torch at an angle where you can safely position the flame easily.

The main reason for my purchase was because the base of the stand is marked for each size tip, the numbers are very hard to find and read on these tiny tips and this makes it easy to keep the proper tip at hand. The base is heavy enough to stay stable and the magnet holder is a good way to keep your torch off the floor. Aside from being the best price I could find, and the free shipping, the folks at CW are the best hands down, to work with.

I like this torch stand. The included clip attached easily to my Little Torch and I was using the torch with the stand in minutes. The magnet is strong, and I feel comfortable leaving the torch lit in the holder while working. My only complaint is that the tips don't fit well into the provided holes. If you bump or move the stand, the tips fall out. Therefore, it doesn't serve well as a tip organizer,
