Smith® Welding & Cutting Outfit - Heavy Duty HBA-30300

The Smith® HBA-30300 welding and cutting kit is a premium heavy duty outfit featuring Smith's Series 30 medium duty gas regulators with heavy duty torch handle, cutting attachment and tips. Smith's proven in-tip gas mixing technology greatly improves operator safety and increases torch life. Torches are covered by Smith's TRUE BLUE® LIFETIME WARRANTY, the longest and strongest in the industry. The Smith® 30 series medium duty brass regulators have large 2 inch gauges and are covered by a 3 year limited warranty.

Outfits are complete with safety and operations manual. Outfit include 1 cutting tip, welding tip, heating tip, tip cleaner.

Features

Graf-Tite� soft seats - Resilient Graf-Tite� seat material protects tip seating areas from nicking to maintain positive seating. Requires less replacement than metal-to-metal seat designs. Compressible soft seats are practically indestructible and withstand extremely high temperatures, resulting in longer tip life.

In-tip mix - Each tip is a precision engineered mixer for combining preheat oxygen and fuel gas to attain maximum efficiency. Adds resistance to flashback.

Slip-in tip design � just hand tighten After the first tightening with a wrench, only hand tightening is required to seat the tip, saving time when changing tips. Quick and easy tip changes encourage use of right tip for the job.

Removable high-pressure seat - Allows cleaning from back of tip.

Three-tube construction - Gases are kept separated, eliminating mixing tube burnout. Our thick-wall, high-capacity stainless steel tubes provide high gas flow and superior strength.

Ease-on oxygen cutting valve - Allows smooth piercing and keyhole free starts and restarts.

Triple o-ring seal - Provides positive gas seal, and allows rotation.

Internal threads - Threads are protected from damage if the torch is dropped, eliminating costly torch repair, replacement or downtime.

Double-tube handle - Tube-within-a-tube design provides strength while reducing weight. Internal tube is silver brazed for extra protection, strength and leak resistance.

Adjustable valve resistance - Special PTFE packing provides a gas-tight seal while allowing the �drag� to be adjusted to the individual preference.

Stainless steel ball-style valves - Corrosion-resistant balls and brass seating surfaces provide gall resistance and positive, chatter-free seating.

Replaceable hose connections - Hose connections are easily replaced if damaged.

The Smith Welding & Cutting Outfit - Series 30 HBA-30300 is a heavy duty welding and cutting kit .The 40 cu ft oxygen cylinder will connect directly to the oxygen regulator.. The problem is this cylinder is too small for you to get maximum performance from the kit.. When used for cutting the torch can empty the 40 cu ft oxygen cylinder in less than 1 hour. The 40 cu ft acetylene cylinder (B Tank) can be connected to the acetylene regulator with the addition of an adapter.. This B size acetylene cylinder is also to small for maximum performance. When cutting the acetylene cylinder may not be able to keep up with demand the torch requires These cylinder would not be a good choice for use with this kit

great product at a low price

Bought this torch set for a contractor trailer I just set up for our logging business.this is our second set of smith torches. I shopped locally and found cheaper quality for even money. Really like this set. I have recommended your website to 2 of my friends that weld. Great price. The acetylene side of the hose had a leak at the fitting, I put some Teflon tape and it stopped, that was the only issue I had.
