Genuine Weiler® Tiger® Aluminum Back Type 29, 80 grit conical flap disc with 5/8-11 nut provides rigid support for maximum aggression when grinding steel and stainless steel. Aluminum back discs are the benchmark of the pipeline industry, ideal for removing heavy pitting. The wheel resists rolling the pipe bevel ends before welding, and its aluminum backing keeps it from catching on the bevel when grinding. The zirconia alumina grain is self-sharpening and is designed to withstand high temperatures and pressure associated with heavy duty metal finishing applications.
80 grit abrasive grain is ideal for blending, rust removal, cleaning, and finishing with a right angle grinder. The Tiger #50520 flap disc offers a metal 5/8"-11 nut that allows for quick changeovers and prevents the disc from sticking to the spindle.
