Miller Coolmate™ 1.3 Coolant System 301616

The Miller® Coolmate™ 1.3 is a light industrial 1.3 gallon capacity cooler designed for water-cooled TIG torches up to 280 amps. The Coolmate's design allows stacking and convenient mounting and is specifically designed for use with the Miller Maxstar® 210, Maxstar® 280, Dynasty® 210, Dynasty® 280 and Dynasty® 300 TIG welders.

Direct replacement for the 300972 Coolmate™ 1.3.

      Cooler works well as any Miller product does. Provides the proper cooling to torch CK-20. Unit has a tolerable sound level when in operation. Without measuring the decibel level, the comparison to my Dynasty 200dx when cooling fan comes on is about the same sound level.

      The reason for the low score is due to how the shipment arrived. The coolant tank lid was protruding through the wall of the cardboard box. When opening the box the unit had come lose from all its packing supports and apparently was bouncing lose around inside the cardboard container. Luckily the coolant tank has not shone to have a crack. (no leaks) Miller needs to improve the shipping container to prevent possible damage in the future. Shipping companies don't give a flip if you get a serviceable product as long as it got shipped.

      Could be a testament to the durability of Miller products however. The unit so far is working fine.
